When it comes to big buying decisions, there are just some things that can’t confidently be puchased unless buyers see them, touch them and experience them for yourself. Big-ticket items such as farm machinery fall squarely into that category.
That's the message from field day organisers Fairfax Rural Events (FRE)... "ProAg supported by bcu, is your once-in-a-year opportunity where you can come and see, touch, feel and compare," said FRE Group Manager Kate Nugent.
"You can go online to do your homework – but unless you sit in the seat of that $20,000 piece of machinery and hear the purr of the engine, making a decision can be a risk.
"It’s that first-hand experience and the opportunity to talk to the manufacturer and/or the dealer," she said.
On the flipside, the field days also offer organisations the chance to meet, interact and develop lasting business relationships with their customers.
