The countdown is on to the nation’s largest premier primary industry field days event, with Aon AgQuip set to celebrate a historic 50-years, when the event gets underway in northwest NSW this month.

Organisers are expecting a massive turnout for the 50th birthday event, with over 80,000 attendees and hundreds of exhibitors expected from across Australia and overseas over the three days.

AgQuip organisers, ACM Rural Events, says it will be a fantastic celebration looking back across the five decades of Aon AgQuip and showcasing the best in agri-technology.

“What a mammoth journey it has been and I am so very proud and excited to be preparing for the 50th Aon AgQuip,” said AgQuip General Manager, Kate Nugent.

“Already we have hundreds of exhibitors locked in, filling our 34-hectare purpose-built site at Gunnedah. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for our 50th anniversary.”

The 50th Aon AgQuip will showcase more than 3000 products and services, highlighting the latest in on-farm technology and innovation.

Aon, a leading global professional services firm, will return as the major sponsor for the 50th AgQuip event, whose team of specialists will be on hand across the three days to provide professional advice and solutions to primary producers.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Aon back as a major sponsor for the 50th event,” said Ms Nugent.

“Protecting the livelihoods of our farmers is paramount and for more than three decades Aon’s network of specialists has supported the nation’s primary producers, helping to safeguard their most important assets.”

Tim Trandafilu, national practice leader – Agribusiness at Aon, said the firm is excited to be involved with Australia’s biggest primary industries event, helping to celebrate its 50th birthday.

“Aon is proud to be a major sponsor of AgQuip, and 50 years is a huge achievement. The agriculture industry forms an integral part of Australia’s economy, and we recognise the crucial contribution agribusiness also makes to local communities,” he said.

“That is why we are delighted to be involved and supporting AgQuip to help address the underserved needs of our clients and their businesses. With a network of 35 branches across Australia, we are committed to our presence in regional areas, supporting our communities, and providing our clients with advice and solutions that give them the clarity and confidence to make better decisions to help protect and grow their businesses.”

The 2023 Aon AgQuip will also feature seminars, live machinery and tool demonstrations, education, training and vocational opportunities, as well as access to rural relief and support services.

“AgQuip brings together businesses, suppliers, support services, producers and consumers, providing an opportunity to connect, engage and learn,” said Ms Nugent.

“This year’s event will deliver the biggest exhibition of new cutting-edge technology and services to drive on-farm efficiency and provide educational opportunities to drive the growth of our nation’s agriculture industry.”

The event will run from August 22-24, 2023 at the Black Jack Road site, eight kilometres west of Gunnedah, NSW.

Tickets are now on sale via the AgQuip website.

“Anyone who pre-purchases their ticket will receive a 33 per cent discount and will also go into the draw to win an AEG power tool prize pack valued at $5,000,” said Ms Nugent.
